The importance of copy

 In late January I learned the importance of copy. Without copy, readers are left with only the images to interpret what the writer is trying to say. This lesson was learned through the use of children's books where we would gather into groups and then read the book, then we would reread the book whilst covering the text. Afterward, we discussed the difference and how easy it is for a reader to stray from the author's intention. The book my group and I read was "Llama Llama Nighty Night".
